You're going abroad and the fear of a hefty bill is keeping you awake at night? Bouygues Telecom offers its Pass Internet Voyage to keep you connected without emptying your wallet (too much). But between the 4 available formulas and their 120 destinations, it's hard to find your way around.
How much does it really cost?
Bouygues offers 4 Passes adapted to your destination and data needs:
The World Pass remains valid for 30 days after activation, and covers over 120 destinations on all continents. The Comfort Pass offers more data, but concentrates on 60 major tourist destinations.
How do I subscribe?
If you are already a Bouygues customer To purchase your Pass, log on to your customer area online or via the Bouygues Telecom mobile application. You can buy your Pass up to 2 months before your departure, and it is automatically activated when you make your first Internet connection in your destination country.
If you are not yet a Bouygues customer Unfortunately, Internet Voyage Passes are only available to Bouygues Telecom subscribers. You'll need to take out a mobile package with the operator before you can order a Pass. In this case, the eSIM providers are a much simpler and faster alternative.

What users say
Overall, feedback has been positive on geographical coverage and automatic activation. No need to wade through the menus on arrival, the Pass activates as soon as you log on. On the other hand, some find the price high compared to the competition, especially for longer stays.
Beware: once you've used up your gigas or passed the 30-day limit, you'll switch to off-package rates, which can really sting.
Pass Bouygues vs eSIM providers: the match-up
When should you choose the Bouygues Pass?
- You're already a Bouygues customer and don't want to complicate your life
- Less than 30 days in a covered country
- Low data consumption (3 to 10 GB is enough)
- You want to keep your French number active to receive calls and SMS messages
When should you choose an eSIM (Ubigi, Saily, Yesim)?
- You are not a Bouygues customer (no prior subscription required)
- Your destination is not in the Pass list
- If you're going away for several months or are a digital nomad
- You need much more data (50 GB, 100 GB or unlimited)
- You want to compare prices between several suppliers
- Travel to several countries in succession with packages adapted to each destination
eSIMs are generally more flexible and often less expensive, especially for heavy data users or long stays. On the other hand, the Bouygues Pass remains practical for existing customers who go away occasionally and want a turnkey solution without changing SIM cards.
What if my destination isn't on the list?
Is your exotic destination nowhere to be found? eSIM providers like Ubigi, Saily or Yesim offer data packages in virtually every country in the world. Installation takes just 5 minutes on your eSIM-compatible smartphone, often at competitive rates and with no need to be a customer of a French operator beforehand.
